My twin has several photos of socks on her phone but after spending an evening with socks and Prosecco I may be taking a few sock selfies myself. Most commonly the UK is known for Tea and Crumpets but we have some hidden treasures when it comes to designers. I was lucky enough to meet Emily Carter when she did a collaboration with Sock Brand ‘Look Mate’. Hosted at the Devonshire hotel, Aldgate, I went and had an evening enriched with culture, design and Socks.

Look Mate is a sock brand that collaborate with different designers monthly, without having seasonal collections. After meeting Emily Carter at London Fashion Week last year, Look Mate Owner…. Approached Emily for a sock collaboration. This collaboration brought us the Prism Socks and a few more beautifull designs from fashion designer Emily Carter. Have you ever heard of socks sparking a conversation? Well these socks are definitely starting the right conversations. Emily and Look Mate had a conversation that I was glad I was able to hear around Sustainability and Design and generally how to be self-employed and happy.
